Vintage model cars, promo cars & Redline Hot wheels
Large collection of vintage plastic model kits, many are still factory sealed. The collection weighs heavily with Ford as the collector was into fast cars. We are expecting somewhere between 600-700 kits but there could be more, he was definitely a fan of the good stuff. Manufacturers include AMT, MPC, Monogram, Revell, IMC and others. There are also around 250 promo cars made by AMT, MPC and Jo-Han highlighted by a 1967 Corvette convertible, 1967-68 Camaro pace cars, 1966-72 Pontiac GTO’s and more. The auction will also consist of a nice selection of carded and loose redline Hot Wheels, many mint on card blackwall Hot Wheels from the late 1970’s and early 1980’s as well as vintage Matchbox cars in original boxes.
Auction scheduled for September 21st and 22nd, 2018 at the Toystrainsandotheroldstuff LLC auction facility at 1951 W Division Rd, Fowler, IN. We are located 1 mile east of US 41, 6 miles north of Boswell, IN or 12 miles south of Kentland, IN and 1 mile south of IN 18, 2 miles west of Fowler. The Red Roof Inn in Kentland is the closest hotel and you can contact them directly at 218-474-5700 but there are many to choose from in West Lafayette, which is 30 miles away.
Auctions will start promptly at 10AM with preview from 8AM-10AM before each days sale. Lunch breaks will be 15 minutes each day at 12:20PM. We provide sandwiches, water, coffee and dessert cake for all in attendance. Handicapped accessible portable restroom available, no smoking inside auction house or within 20 feet of door. Online bidding will be available with a 15% buyers premium and a 3% convenience fee for credit or paypal. Live in house buyers premium is 10% with 3% convenience fee for credit cards. Shipping is available for those unable to attend, phone bids and absentee bids accepted upon signing bidder agreement. 7% Indiana State sales tax will be collected on all in state purchases.
